Pair of Antique Dutch Colonial Carved Chairs

This pair of antique carved ebony wood chairs has exqusitely carved details in their floral carved rest, twist legs, and open design spindle back. The ebonized wood has carved designs which are similar to both English and Dutch designs of the time. The seats have cained pannels in a natural finish. Note that there are two different panel styles and each cained seat is unique. Signed at the back base rail of one of the chairs - signed Sofija Fjanng. Whether placed in a grand hall or intimate study room, these chairs will command attention with their timeless beauty. 

• Dimensions: 21.75” W x 18.25” Deep x 30” Tall
• Condition: Good antique condition. One chair has added metal spline repair to the back post and rear legs. It is original to when we acquired these from Europe. Please see images for details
