Mahogany Regency Desk with Hinged Top

This beautifully made 19th century regency desk is well appointed with its locking drop-down tabletop, backboard letter slots, and a single drawer. The inside surface has a recessed area for the original lidded glass ink and duster pots. The ring turned slender legs, gilded pattern leather blotter, keyed lock top and original brass hardware add to the exquisite look of this piece. This table dates to 1825 and is stylistically Regency in use and design. This table is in good original condition and will absolutely shine with wood and leather conditioning.
